PAPER HEARTS
A SILKSCREEN EXHIBITION CURATED BY
THE LITTLE FRIENDS OF PRINTMAKING
& TUESDAY BASSEN
PAPER HEARTS brings together 14 artists, illustrators, and designers from around the world to create their own personal and contemporary reinterpretation of the classic Valentines card. The work seen here ranges from sweet to sarcastic to NSFW and back again-- and each is a distinctly personal vision, suitable for framing.
All of the prints in PAPER HEARTS were hand-printed expressly for this exhibition by THE LITTLE FRIENDS OF PRINTMAKING at their press in Pasadena, CA. All of the designs were produced in a LIMITED EDITION OF 30 and each print is priced at $30. (I know, right?)
PAPER HEARTS opened on February 5th, 2016 at CO-LAB in Los Angeles. Next, the exhibition will travel to Austin, TX, where it will open at COMPANION on Saturday, February 13, 2016.
